Last week, Year 3 had a visit from 'That History Bloke', Richard, he introduced us to our new topic, The Romans! 

We had lots of fun exploring chants used in the Roman Army, traditional tales told in Latin, as well as holding objects used in that time period, such as: a Roman shield, real amour, face vases, spears and much, much more!  

At the end of the session, we practised writing our names in Latin characters and learnt a fun new game that we could play anywhere! We had such a wonderful morning, and it perfectly introduced us to our new topic. We can't wait to see Richard again in May!
