Children took part in a range of activities in Early Years last week to celebrate World Nursery Rhyme Week. In classes we sang the songs together and learned the Makaton signs too. We learned some new rhymes as well as some of our old favourites. 

Throughout the week we made currant buns, counted currants for our giant buns and experimented with what happened when we took one away. We rescued Incy Wincy spiders from our water wall and made our own spiders with play dough. We had lots of fun playing with the animals in our sensory farm tray, and made stars with some of the constructions resources in the classroom.
