Year 2 have been creating collages in Art this week with a focus on different textures. They each chose a different scene that they wanted to replicate. Some of our ideas were a beach, the sky and a forest.  

In Year 5, we have been reading Long-Armed Ludy and the First Women’s Olympics. Today, we used drama to create freeze frames of some scenes from the book. We imagined how Ludy would be feeling during each of these scenes and recorded our ideas to help us write our final piece.

Year 2 have been working very hard this half term on their Maths topic of fractions. We have been exploring how to find half, quarters and thirds of both shapes and amounts.
