In Year 3's history topic we are exploring 1950's Gateshead. We've been comparing what housing used to be like and is it the same today. We went on a local walk to see a range of houses and make comparisons. We had such a lovely time. Well done Year 3!   

Introducing Caedmon’s School Council. Each class elects candidates to represent them. The new school council met last week for the first time and outlined the areas they would like to work on this year.  

On Thursday some of our Reception children took part in a sports multiskills event ran by Gateshead School Sports Partnership. They tried out a range of skills, including basketball and volleyball and had lots of fun.  

Year 2 had a fantastic local area visit last week to Saltwell Park. We looked at different locations that we could visit linked with our English book. Over the next few weeks, we will be writing our own story where we visit different destinations
