Year 3 had to wonderful opportunity to spread some Christmas Cheer to the residents who visit the AgeUK Dementia Day Centre on Sunderland Road. 

When we arrived we were introduced to the residents and the staff who work there, we did some colouring, explored the different rooms in the building as well as the games there. Children handed out a range of presents and ended the visit with singing 'We Wish You a Merry Christmas". The children were simply amazing. 

Also, a very special thank you to the whole school community who very kindly donated some presents to give to those who wouldn't receive any presents at this time of year. We collected so many that they are going to be distributed across all the centres in the North East so they reach more people who need them this Christmas.
