Another busy week for Reception. We’ve been looking at the structure of our story, Little Red, and using pictures to put the story in the correct order and then retell the story using our story vocabulary and phrases.

On Thursday we found out about Lunar New Year - we watched a video that told us about how families celebrate and share a story about The Great Race. We also got the chance to try some Chinese foods - we could choose from spring rolls, prawn crackers and fortune cookies. We watched some traditional lion and dragon dances while we had our food. We all opened our cookie and the grown-ups read our fortunes!
